*****J’adore/Nous Adorons: World-changing, we could not put it down even if we dared to try. And, we might just read it again. We would recommend it to anyone.
****Liked it: It didn’t shatter our worlds. Something held us back from that amazing moment of complete obsession, but we definitely liked it a lot. We would recommend it to our friends.

For those who skim: A sexy story with a surprising hero and a heroine with a heart of gold.

Perfect ass.

Perfect arms.

Perfect swagger.

They call Dash Wallace the Diamond King.

He’s the hottest commodity in baseball and in the bedroom.

When he runs the bases, every woman’s eyes are glued to his stunning body and a smile that puts the night lights to shame.

I’m no queen. I’m a regular girl with a regular job. I just watch him on TV and from the bleachers, season after season.

Girls like me grab a guy like that one in a million times.

My number just came up, and he is as spectacular in bed as he is on the field.

But there’s not a woman in the world who can distract Dash Wallace from the game. Not for a moment. Not even me.

Until the night I do. And everything changes.

Let me start off by saying that there isn’t anything wrong about this book.
Reiss created a journey that showed the power of mind over matter while showing that sometimes our brains work differently which makes us exquisite.
I love a good baseball book.
I love books based in LA written by someone who clearly knows a thing about what it’s actually like to live here, from the school system to the traffic patterns.
I like stories about under appreciated women and teachers.
I was just underwhelmed.
I truly enjoyed the hero and the way that Reiss explained his personality and struggles. He was your gloriously imperfect Reiss hero.
I liked the heroine. She was beautiful with a heart of gold.

I, however, didn’t get swept away in their romance the way I’d hoped to.
